Security & Information
Security & Event Guidelines: The safety and comfort of our community is a top priority. To ensure a welcoming environment for all attendees, please review the following guidelines: Security & Bag Checks: We’ve partnered with a professional security team to monitor each event and ensure a safe space for everyone. All entrances will be guarded. All bags and backpacks are subject to search prior to entry. No weapons of any kind are permitted at any event location. Aggressive Behavior: Physical or verbal aggression will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If you witness any concerning behavior, please speak up—if you see something, say something. Our staff and security are here to help. Beach & Pool Rules: Let’s respect our beautiful Texas beaches and each other: * No glass containers are allowed on the beach. * No outside drinks are permitted in the pool area. * Nudity is not allowed in public spaces, in accordance with Texas law.
Health & Wellness
COVID-19, Mpox & Sexual Health Safety Measures: Your health and safety are important to us. We encourage all attendees to be up to date on their COVID-19 and Mpox vaccinations before attending any public events. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask or practicing social distancing during the event, please do so—this is a judgment-free zone. If you’re experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or Mpox, we kindly ask that you stay home and seek medical care. Additionally, we believe in protecting our community through sexual health awareness. STI testing and HIV PrEP services are important tools to help keep you and your partners safe. We’ll have on-site testing and PrEP sign-up opportunities available during the event—but you don’t have to wait! Reach out to a local health provider to get started today.
Culture
A mix of Gay Bear & Kink Culture events are designed to celebrate body positivity and queer culture. We ask everyone to treat others with the same respect and kindness they wish to receive. Hate is a learned behavior—let’s make a change and choose to show LOVE. Please remember, nudity is not allowed in public spaces. Let’s keep our events fun, respectful, and welcoming for everyone!
Drugs & Alcohol Policy
RGV Bears is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees. In accordance with Texas law, we operate as a drug-free event. Anyone found under the influence of illegal substances will be immediately asked to leave. While alcohol consumption is permitted, we ask that you drink responsibly. Our events are strictly 21+, and we’ve added shuttle services and a host hotel to help ensure everyone gets back safely. If you notice someone who appears overly intoxicated or in need of assistance, please notify event organizers immediately. Any form of improper conduct will result in removal from the event. These guidelines are in place to protect our community and ensure we all have a fun, respectful, and safe experience.
Ticket Cancellation & Refund Policy
All ticket sales for are final. We do not offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to changes in personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, illness, weather, or travel issues. For your safety, do not pay anyone for a ticket that was not directly purchase through RGV BEARS. We are not responsible of any transactions outside or our organization. In the rare event that the event is canceled by the organizers, ticket holders will be notified via email with information on potential rescheduling or credit options. Your ticket grants access to the events outlined in the purchased pass type. Add-On events are sold separately and are not included in your all-access pass unless specifically stated. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by all event rules, venue policies, and applicable laws. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
